Containers

Republic provides a covered tote for each single-family residence for the collection of trash. Please note that each resident is entitled to one trash tote and one recycling bin upon moving in, and these totes belong to Republic Waste Management Services - the totes will stay with the residence if an owner sells their home.

You are encouraged to keep a record of the serial number of your tote(s) should you need to identify it in the future. Requests for additional recycling bins and totes are accepted via email to [email protected].

All trash containers and recycling receptacles must be picked up by residents for storage within their fenced-in backyards or garage on the same day as collection. The storage of trash containers and/or recycling receptacles in front or side yards is strictly prohibited.

Trash

Trash must be properly secured. All lots are required to use a trash container with an attached lid. Trash must be placed at the curbside or designated area by 6 a.m. but NOT before 6 p.m. the day prior for collection.

Recycling

Republic Waste Management's weekly curbside recycling program includes the collection of aluminum cans, aluminum foil and trays rinsed and cleaned, metal food and beverage cans, Number 1 through Number 7 plastics, plastic bottles, wide-mouth plastic containers, rigid plastics, newspapers, mixed paper, junk mail, magazines, phone books, and catalogs, empty aerosol cans, cardboard, paperboard (including cereal boxes without the lining and frozen food packages, etc), corrugated cardboard, moving boxes. Each Tuesday, Republic will remove recyclable materials that have been placed at the curb for collection.
